How the WhatsApp Agent Works
Walio's WhatsApp agent is your proactive assistant. Instead of checking a dashboard, you receive notifications directly in WhatsApp whenever something happens on your connected channels.
The Detection Pipeline
Every 5 minutes, Walio scans all your connected Instagram and Facebook channels looking for new content. When something new is detected — a post, a reel, a carousel, or a story — the agent sends you a WhatsApp notification so you can decide what to do.
The flow is simple: scan, detect, notify. You stay in control without having to check anything manually.
Notification Types
Not all content gets the same notification. Walio adapts based on what was detected.
Single Post
When Walio finds one new post, you receive a direct notification with all the details — the account name, content type, and a preview. Right in the message, you'll see two buttons:
- Monitorear — Start the monitoring wizard to set up automations for this post
- Omitir — Skip this post and move on
Multiple Posts
When several posts are detected at once (for example, after a batch upload), Walio sends a summary notification letting you know how many new posts were found. You'll see a "See options" button that lets you browse through each one and decide individually.
Stories
Stories get special treatment because they expire. Walio includes an urgency indicator showing how much time is left before the story disappears. This countdown helps you prioritize stories that are about to expire so you don't miss the window.
Queuing During Active Sessions
New items are queued automatically
If you're in the middle of a wizard session (setting up monitoring for a post), any new content detected during that time is held in a queue. Once your current session ends, Walio delivers the queued notifications so nothing falls through the cracks.
